The Challenge

Two years into their marketing partnership with Leadhub, Hollywood-Crawford was looking for a way to invest even more into the needs of their customers. They wanted to serve local homeowners better by providing a more user-friendly experience on their site, more helpful content to assist in choosing their services and faster pathways to solutions for garage door needs.

Website Design

Our team designed a brand new website for Hollywood-Crawford, born of the most recent Griffin theme that boasts faster speeds, easier navigation and better user experience. 

We organized the unique products that are so essential to Hollywood-Crawford’s customers, ensuring each garage door style and garage door opener model could be explored fully. This allows viewers to access the expansive lines of garage door styles and materials in an organized way, boosting the positive experience they have on the site.

Content Expansion

We also expanded and optimized the content on all main pages, writing deeper and more compelling copy to accompany the fresh face of Hollywood-Crawford. Adding localized content and zeroing in on keywords that would bring Hollywood-Crawford the best leads, we attempted to focus the copy into a more helpful and authoritative resource.

The Results

So, how did these changes affect the company’s performance?

In the first year, between March 2023 and March 2024, the new website gained 10.81 points, boosting it to nearly 20% and effectively doubling its visibility on Google.

In addition, organic conversions to the site increased by 32.88%. By adjusting the strategy to focus on potential customers and their needs, we were able to cut out a lot of noise in the form of sessions that were not converting. This made way for more qualified leads who were provided with the relevant and easy-to-access content they needed to decide on booking services.

Lastly, we were able to boost the number of keywords that Hollywood-Crawford was ranking for to get their content in front of customers quicker on the SERP. We can see from the graph below that shortly after the launch of the new website, the number of keywords ranking on the first page of the SERP began climbing from only about 5-7 and has now reached more than 20. 

The gold and dark blue sections of the bars indicate the area on the SERP page that most searchers will convert from. Increasing the number of keywords in these categories simply means that searchers are seeing results for Hollywood-Crawford sooner when they enter search queries related to garage doors and openers.
