About Dale Blasingame

Originally from the Rio Grande Valley in Harlingen, Texas, Dale graduated with a Master’s degree in new media and an undergrad degree in journalism from Texas State University.  After winning a couple of Emmy awards during his time in TV news, which he considers the highlight of the journalism side of his career.

After attending SXSW Interactive 2010, Dale’s life changed as he discovered the digital world, pursued his professional interests in social media and became one of the founding members of Leadhub along with Ben Hubbert.

What does Dale do for fun?
Dale’s passions include travel and constantly staying up to date on the tech/social media world.  He’s visited all 95 state parks in Texas in 2015, claimed Texas Highways Magazine title as one of 2016’s Extraordinary Texans and is now on a quest to visit all 400+ National Parks across the United States.

As for tech, he spends time as a social media professor at Texas State as he thinks it’s incredibly important to stay current and informed on industry changes.

Favorite thing about Leadhub
“This one is easy – coworkers and clients. The team at Leadhub is so close and friendly. And we’ve been fortunate to have some long-time clients that have been with us since day one. That’s pretty special.”

Something Leadhubbies never knew…
Dale is fairly notorious for never wearing shoes – and there’s a reason behind this.  When he was a child, Dale began walking at an early age when his legs couldn’t support it, causing him to wear protective braces and these big, heavy shoes every night to correct the problem.

Ever since then, he’s despised shoes and you’ll usually catch him wearing flip flops (or no shoes at all), whether it’s in the office or in the classroom.
