About Richard Dominguez

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Richard has dabbled in and out of the digital industry for several years as a hobby, attending school out of state at the Alma College in Michigan and learning about New Media Studies.

With a clear passion for programming, Richard didn’t have to make a conscious choice to be involved with digital as it was something he naturally walked into. He says, “the internet in particular – and computers in general – have long been full of interesting possibilities, and even more interesting diversions, so digital has been one of my primary time sinks for at least half my life”.

After moving back to San Antonio, Richard came to join the Leadhub family as a new developer in October of 2015. Since then, he’s been the ‘go to’ guy for all things when it comes to creating new websites and writing scripts that perform automated work.

What does Richard do for fun?
In his spare time, you can find Richard programming at home for web and games. He enjoys the challenge of being presented the opportunity to break a large problem down into smaller sub-problems, with straightforward and easily grokkable solutions.

Favorite thing about Leadhub?
“How well everyone seems to get along with everyone else.”

Something Leadhubbies never knew…
“I was in a band in high school. I spent a semester in New York City interning at several arts-affiliated organizations. I have also dabbled in at least ten different programming or scripting languages, including Python, Perl, Lua, C and Unix shell, though the ones I know decently are lesser in number.”
