In 2019, Parker & Sons Plumbing was a small-sized plumbing company with yearly revenue of about $800k. Before joining Leadhub their strategy was solely focused on paid platforms providing short-sighted results. In speaking with Jim, the Leadhub team stressed the importance of building a brand and using paid traffic as a source of growth instead of the company’s life support.
At the time the client lacked any organic visibility and the website was not ranking for any plumbing-related keywords. Their existing website was flooded with duplicate content, stolen from another plumbing company in California.
Our challenge was to get Parker & Sons to rank for high-value keywords, and expand their breadth of services to a full-service residential plumbing company.
When Parker & Sons signed on with Leadhub, we began a three-tiered approach to jumpstart the account.
First, we launched the website on Griffin — our SEO-optimized theme. We created and replaced all of the existing content on the website with keyword enriched and optimized content.
Second, all content on the website was rewritten or added new, including service pages, location pages and all of the blogs on the site.
The final tier was to launch revitalized PPC campaigns. We started on Google Ads and then expanded to Google Local Service Ads, which brought in a significant revenue stream for Parker & Sons.
Once all of the establishing work of setting up the website, content and PPC campaigns was done, we set to work on optimizing and bringing the account to the next level through supplemental branding pieces, expanded content and new campaign strategies on Google Ads. We utilized ServiceTitan MarketingPro to create Drip Campaigns for Unsold Estimates. These three-sequence campaigns recaptured leads that might have otherwise been lost. Monthly email campaigns highlighting their current offers acted as additional client touches and drove additional leads and brand awareness.
Parker & Sons (now Mr. Plumber of San Antonio) signed on with Leadhub in November of 2019 and by March of 2020, the site’s organic rankings spiked significantly. By then, they were ranking in the top spot or in the map pack for high-value keywords like “plumbers near me” and “water heater replacement.” This trend continued, and Parker & Sons held their top keyword positions through the duration of 2020 and into 2021 when the company became profitable enough to be successfully sold to a larger HVAC and Plumbing company.
